- A good product must include all the roles that will play a part in its life cycle. Often times, only the final user is taken into account, but when designing a product it is necessary to think of the rest of the people that also play an important role. These people are: the producing company, the manufacturer, the fitter, the carrier, the vendor, and, especially, the people in charge of collecting/recycling the product.
- A good product must be environmentally friendly and responsible with its application environment. A well-designed product must be made in a way that it has a long life and with quality materials.
- A good product must be innovative and provide improvements to the user compared to the competitors’ products.
- A good product must be understandable and the user experience must be easy and pleasant.
- A good product must be aesthetically balanced. The simpler, the smarter.
